Three Beams by the Sepia Sand

Three Beams by the Sepia Sand.

Down by the velvet moss, down by the sepia beach, and down by the ocean edge where there stands three black beams of wood. They stand like giant's teeth in the cool sand. I wonder. I wonder. I wonder if the giant is still down there in the dark earth? I wander if he is a wander? I wonder if that giant will come back some day.

Another photo! I really like this photograph. The colours are great and the way it divides into three separate parts. The green moss, the black wooden beams, and the sepia sand.

I really like this image. Its like the end of the day almost closing in. The ends of the wooden beams are like fingers pointing to the sky.
Just lovely :o)

Hi Jay! Thank you, I'm glad you like the photos and hopefully you like the future photographs to come! Thanks for the vist and the comment. Appreciated!

As for the camera, I use a Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ20 :-) It's a really great camera and I can recommend it highly. It's very large though, and so not the one to go for if you want something compact to fit in the pocket.

I like this picture a lot! The colour looks almost unnatural. In fact I don't think I have ever seen it in real life. Nice to see it exists at least :D

Thanks :-)

Yes, strange isn't it? The light was fading fast when I took the picture! Really strange colour. A very nice surprise to find it!

I thought you'd used some sepia-effect, but this is natural?

Way cool.

This picture is a reason why for the moment I go with an Olympus and save my money for the real thing ("A big one! - They sell it in pints ... I need to have one ...").
Hey, do you remember the movie Bladerunner? When Rutger Hauer dies he talks about having seen seabeams ... at the gate of Orion ... something like this. About memories that will be lost in time like tears in rain ...

Martin, yeah it is real and unaltered photo! Amazing colour isn't it? :-)

Borya, I love Blade Runner and really especially love that moment at the end of blade runner. So beautiful. So poetic. So touching and full of meaning. Great movie, great lines...

Billy, thank you very much. I do hope I'm in enlightened state. I really hope so.
