Follow Me

Follow Me...

Hope you like this photo. It's very strange photo. I won't add much text to this one as it's such an enigmatic shot that would spark the imagination that I prefer the photo stand for itself.

Take a look at my december 10th entry and pic. Unfortunately it wasn't mine so I posted a smaller version. But there you can read what my first thought here was.

Nice picture.. When I looked at it my mind instantly went to a fantasy world, and I was just waiting for the orc and such to jump out of the darkness..

Thanks Hay :-)

Strange you should mention about the prc! When I go to that forest it's often that I imagine things like orcs and so on in the deep of the wood.

Actually, it is a very strange wood and if you stay tuned I might make a post about it. In fact, I will make a post about it at some point. I need a suitable picture of the woodlands first. It's a very strange, ancient, wild wood with a dark history to it. Stay tuned! :-)

Hey there!
Like this photo. REminds me of the Secret Garden, Lord of the Rings, Red-riding Hood, Snow white and all else associated with fairytales galore! IT's dark and you're right, enigmatic but somehow.... it's not at all threatening. Somehow, it's inviting! I think the caption Follow me fits well with it. NEat!

this picture is a challenge, a doorway to you-don't-know-what-lies-beyond, tempting, taunting, daring you to follow.

I like this shot! The highlighted leaves looks like a cool frame to the photo! How u managed to do it?

Martin said...

Thanks Acrix :-)

I shot it at night. I took the shot with normal settings I would use for day time shooting and I used a weak flash setting so that only the entrance to the forest was lit! Glad you liked it :-)
