Anticipation of her arrival

Waiting for her... waiting for the comming and the golden light and the glory of the dawn.

Stayed awak all saturday night. Got to a certain point and decided I wanted to just stay up the entire night and try to capture the dawn over the forest! With coffee and bacon sandwich inside me to proctect me from cold and tiredness I braved the cold of London. Got there aroudn 6:15 in the morning with everything still in darkness but with the faintest hint of a lighter shade of blue at the horizon. Listened to birdsong, crow calls, and watched the comings and goings of the bats. So peaceful. It was wonderful. Most do more things such as that. Anyway, as you can see I managed to capture the dawn light :-)

On another note... I have gone back to just posting the pics directly to here. I much prefere the look and anyway there are not that many people that use 800X600 these days!

I like the atmosphere. But this is no waiting atmosphere, I mean, not waiting in that concrete moment for an appointment. It has more of a waiting in general for somebody to show up in your life, sit beside you and feel comfortable there.
Once I was living near such a hill. You always go up there alone, you watch the distance alone, you dream alone, nobody comes. It's longing that you feel, sometimes there's desperation but often it's hope.

Do you live your life as if its real?
Have you found your soulmate?
Did you find her and let her go without knowing?

I love that picture. For some reason it reminds me of a number of movies and books. (It's a flexible picture, what can I say?) I also loved your daylight moon one.

(You may be right about not many people using 800x600 anymore, but I just thought I'd let you know that this is what your site looks like in my browser.)

That's such a calming picture. I love the colours and the outline of the bench up there. Really, really nice. So staying up all night was certainly worth it!! :D

Hay, glad you liked it. I suppose there is a slight sense of darkness there. The way I saw it though was the dark was leaving and the hope was arriving. The light is starting to swell on the horizon :-)

Borya, that's kinda how I saww it too :-) Also the title is a bit of a play on the words. Waiting for her.. the dawn and waiting for her... ( her name ) Well, maybe she has already arrived and he is just waiting to meet her :) lol I just like happy endings so that's my imaginging! :-)

Ubermensch, thanks for the link!!! As you see, you are linked also :-)

A Whisper, thanks for the comments. Your words are really beautiful :-) Oh and sorry that the picture bleeds into the menu with your browser. It's a really hard choice for me to make but I have to go for the larger pics, sorry!!! Hope it won't deter you from visiting and leaving your very interesting comments!

Pincusion, You are welcome for my visit to your site. I will link to you soon :-)

Cristina! Thanks for the comment! Glad you liked it. Yeah, it was really worth to stay up all night. I will probably do it again. I am really bad with mornings so think the only way to go get the dawn is stay through the entire night! :-O

Thanks for the comments everybody :-)

Best Wishes

Hi La Luna - I only asked three questions! Which you have not answered!:D I think the answers would interest me very much - although they are very personal :)
The reason I asked these questions is because your blog seems to be filled with a feeling of longing :)

I must point out there has been some confusion! The comment below mine about the browser is not attributable to me!

Whisper, you are right, they are very personal questions. A lot of blogs deal with personal things and this is not one of them. If the blog is about anything it's about beauty, magic, and wonder. If I know you then I might answer your questions :-) If you are interested in knowing me then email me!

Best Wishes

Love the 'loney' bench as the sun rises. Well worth the wait. Been sometime since I did one of the dawn. :-)

A whisper, email me if you want to know me. You didn't hit a nerve at all. It's only this blog is for art and not personal information regarding myself. I don't give out personal information to people I don't know nor do I give it out in public spaces. Many most of blogs function for just that but I do not.

Best wishes
