Clock Face Like a Moon

The old clock set into the old cool feeling stones was like the moon captured and fractured in time. Her face had watched over so many appointments and disappointments, but also many kisses and bright moments. The clock faced glowed in the dark and ticked like a heart.

Keep dreaming, keep wishing...

Hi, how are you these days? I am not sure how long "Lost in New York" has mistaken me for you (similar username), but when he read that "I" would be passing through New York, he said, "Maybe we could hang out," thinking it was you! Today I read a comment on my blog that he left asking what happened to my "other blog," the one with all the "gorgeous photos," (!)

I realized his mistake and told him. I wonder how he will react...

The moon has many faces. In this picture, two!

Hey thats a very creative take on the clock! But somehow the pic made me think of a bejwelled maiden wearing a golden tiara (the crowning light at the top) and 2 ear studs (the clock faces )! strange don't you think ??!!!

Happyandblue2, thanks for your visit! Hope you come back to my site again. I am glad you like the photographs. Happy Valentine to you too! I hope it was a good one!

Kiyomi, thank you!!! And same to you! Thanks for the visit :-)

Lux, haha, that's quite funny. I guess he will be ok about it. It's a pretty easy mistake as our names are much the same. :-) Thanks for the visit :-)

:A: - Great comment and thank you :-)

Pincusion, glad you liked the take on the clock! I really like your take too! I really like it when somebody comes with their own and interesting interprettion of the photograph as you have done :-)

Best Wishes

My favorite line was the simile, "the moon captured and fractured in time."

There are two clocks. One is the time we think we have, and the other is the time we have. If only the two were one.

Thanks for the comment PoeticMermaid. I really like your name :-)

I like what you have said regarding the two times. One being the time we have and the othe the time we think we have. Like that very much. It's so true. Wish I had thought of it to go with my photograph! :-)

Best wishes
