Cloud Factory

Image hosted by TinyPic.com

Cloud Factory

They were sitting watching the cloud factory make beautiful white clouds. "I like Van Gogh's," She said unexpectedly.

He didn't take his eyes off of the clouds that were floating into the sky like crazy balloons. "What do you mean?" He asked as he watched.

"I Liked the way that he painted the clouds. All swirls and twirls."

The last of the Canary Wharf photos that I wanted to post up ( for now ) and hope you like it. The clouds look great reflected in the windows of the glass tower :-)

B&w looks the best :P Did u edit the previous blue sky photo? Notice the grains in the blue sky~

Martin said...

Yes, I think black and white suits it :-)

No, didn't edit the last pic. I noticed the grains. I don't know where they came from :-)

I increased the saturation slightly and the brightness. That's it. It wasn't visible when I had the large version so maybe it's a compression issue? I was trying another form of compression analogue. I noticed with this one that I got "noise" on it. So I have switched back. I think that's where the noise might be coming from.

What do you think?

i'm sorry but that's not a cloud factory. it's a beautiful pic, though, not that you get me wrong. and a good text, as usual! but the cloud factories you find in sibiria and russia's far east. :)shame that i have no pic to proof what i mean. maybe i get the chance at the end of this year. i'll try to put in words what i can't show you in my blog soon.

Great pictures--you should take pictures of the desert : ) lots of cloud factories in the monsoon time.

PECOS BLUE: I would love to take pictures of a desert. I hope one day to spend at least a day and a night in the desert. The deserts are beautiful and totally isolated. To be truly alone, to hear true silence, and to see the stars in all their glory at night would be a wonderful thing.
