In the week I went to the forest for a walk and a photo shoot! I wanted to experiment with some different settings. The forest shoot was not very productive ( although I enjoyed being in the arms of oak, the rich scent of leaf and earth, and soft birdsong ) but the sunset was simply amazing! I bring it home and lay it before you in all it's tangerine delight :-)
On another note: I went to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory today! It was fantastic! Love Tim Burton! He was just the right choice for this movie! It was dark and twisted but it was also very funny! The umpalooma songs are classic! I highly recommend it :-)

BORYA: Well it's good to have wild and eclectic tastes! My own tastes in movies, music, books, and just about everything zig zag madly from one extreme to the other!

i'm a sucker for a sunset photo. took many myself this weekend. each one so slightly different from the next. i love the colour in this one.
am hoping to see willy wonka soon. what a combination...johnny depp and chocolate!...works for me every time!

Thats one of teh most breatholding orange sunset that ive seen photographed.

I never did get into the Willy Wonka original movie, but my daughter and sister went to see the new one and they really enjoyed it. Fun and weird, they said. I think I would be too tempted to gorge on chocolate if I saw it, like I need an excuse to do that! LOL, why do I always wind up talking about food on your blog?

I think you should see the new movie and gorge on chocolate. I guess that isn't helping? :-D Nothing wrong with talking about food ( and especially chocolate ) it's one of my passions!

Lately it's been hazy at my area and din get to see any nice sunset :P All i can see is a big reddish-orange sun among the smoky sky~
I'm lucky that we seem to have a LOT of great sunsets and especially this time of year. I think we have great clouds here :-)

Ah, it's always dangerous to take a photo of a sunset--kinda like taking photos of flowers and kittens. But this is a very good shot indeed. A whole new way to think about the color orange!
