Sky though the fingers

Sky though the fingers

I looked at the beautiful blue sky with it's cotten candy clouds and sighed at the beauty of trees and clouds...

Time for another photograph. You just knew it would not be long before there was another sky, right? :-) I hope you like this photo. Actually, I am kind of obsessed with the sky as viewed against the bare arms and fingers of winter trees. I will shoot more of these shots. Stay tuned... :-)

Very nice image! (hehe, I keep repeating myself when it comes to leave comments here :P). I love the little clouds. In Spanish, if you're interested - or maybe you know already - they're called "borreguitos" :D Don't ask me why that is though :S

Thanks fot he comment Cristina. I didn't know that word ( so many I don't know hehe ) Does the word mean anything in Inglish? Or it's just a word for that type of cloud?

Yes, please, give us a Spanish lesson, Cristina! There must be different names for clouds. Some you can tell? Borreguitos - that makes its way to my personal dictionary today. :-)

Borreguitos literally means 'little lambs' which sort of makes sense looking at those clouds :)

I really can't think of many more cloud names but the 'technical' ones, you know, nimbo and all that, but it's not many people who know which cloud is called what. Except for the borreguitos, which usually anticipate rain according to popular knowledge. But I don't know.

Just remembered how the saying goes! Borreguitos en el cielo, charcos en el suelo. Literally: little lambs in the sky, poodles on the ground :D
